Blog #4:Two quick questions to answer: 1.) What do you think about all the wonderful inventions we were supposed to have already according to television? 2.) What will people do with the internet in the next five to ten years that has not been done yet?

Well i think it is dumb because  it is very hard to predict something like that you just cant say one day ohh well next year we will have flying cars because technology is not predictable. It would be wonderful to have all those things but come on put your feet and imaginations back on earth in reality we don't have the money to make any of those things much less the technology that is needed to make them.  Well the internet has expanded widely over the years I really cant think of what else they can add that is in profit I mean there are lots of things we can do but do we have the money I honestly doubt it.

Blog #3:Should people have an alternate identity online? Should we behave online the same way we interact with people offline? If we are online, are we responsible for our own actions and behaviors?

Well i think we are responsible of our actions 24/7 no matter where we are at and no matter in what condition you are in. for example, if you are drunk it doesn't justify why you started screaming like crazy and started a fight. no i don't think we should have an alternate identity maybe if you don't want to use your first use your middle name. i think that no make if you are online or in person you should always be yourself  people have meet you one way and i think we should always act the same just because you are online or on Facebook you shouldn't change the way you act.  Sometimes people would appreciate it that you act the same in person as well as online.

Blog #6: "Technology has far outpaced the growth of education and the methods teachers have created and adopted of using their advancements." Reading the line above, what is your reaction? Is that true? What is the role of technology in the classroom?

Now a days the teachers want us to us the computers to do our homework's at this point having a computer is a necessity while in school. all the teachers expect us to type up most of our homework or require of the internet in order to even turn in your homework. In my opinion this quote is correct we do depend on technology to much and it is spread to the point that the teachers are using plus. I think this is a good idea it makes your life much easier when you know you just get on the computer and get information. So in other words I agree with this just that sometimes it gets annoying of sitting in front of a screen for a long while at the beginning its cool then after a while I get frustrated and I want to give up. Technology is making a bigger impact in our education that i ever though now we as students and the teachers as well use it for everything.

Blog #5: 1.) Is electronic media better than paper media? Why or why not? 2.) Will electronics one day replace everything? If so, when will this happen? What might NOT get replaced?

In my opinion I think that electronic media is much better than paper media the only problem is that not everybody has access to electronic media. The internet is great example I know people that do not have access to the internet everyday. But the television is another good example because it is another form of electronic media and mostly everybody as at least one television per house hold. The paper media Is much more simple to get a hold of like the newspaper but I mean it is more annoying to have to wait until u buy the newspaper when u can just get on the internet or have to wait until the book comes out in the library or 9in a book store when you can just get on the internet and read it on Google books. But like I mentioned earlier some people do not have access to the internet everyday some of my fellow classmates can only use the internet when they are at school or have to go to a friend’s house in order to even get online. Now a day’s everybody prefers to research or get on online more than actually using a book or the newspaper I actually believe that one day technology will take over everybody uses this instead in my case the teachers ask us to check for our homework on the internet and stuff like that I use the internet not only for school but to communicate with people at very far distance so I belief that technology will take over. As it is it is already take over a few more years from now it will be dominant over anything. In my case I prefer to sit in front of a computer screen and research than have to go to the library and then sit down and take notes on it when on the computer you just copy and paste save it to your fashdrive and carry that information with you anyway.

Post 2: What is your reaction/feelings after watching the "Growing up Online" video? Which character/scene most resonated/fit with you?

This video gives you the reality of things that can happen online. when my mom exaggerates when we touch the theme of Facebook i didn't believe her now i do. i is sad and painful to see how some people decide to end their life over getting bullied i think that when you decide to make a Facebook account this is the risk we all run but that does not mean we actually have to listen to what they say. Umm honestly i do not think i have ever faced any of these cases so this video doesn't relate to me in any way it gives me something to think about but other than that it doesnt relate to me. my mom has never and hopefully will never ask me for my Facebook. i think that when i have children i would probably ask for their password it does not matter if they are girls or boys they run the same risk.

Post 1- What are your online experiences? How have they shaped your life?

My online experiences haven't been so bad they are a good form of communication.. I use it to communicate with one of my friends that lives far from here we don't use the phone because then the phone bill comes out pretty expensive. i started get online when i was in 7th grade not only to get on MySpace but this is when teachers start to ask you to do research papers and i resist to use the library so we use the internet.its has shaped my life but at the same time it is bad to be online. to me it is vary addicting like i know that when i am suppose to be doing "homework" on the computer i am on Facebook. it helps on the other hand because yeah like i said you need it for school and stuff and now most of the work you do for the teachers consist of using the computer so technology gets more addicting as the time goes by
